Paul King created a set of instore promotional and communication themes and store design guidelines to fully communicate the new format to the customers.
New Concept Flagship
All the recommendations were realized in the new Allo Flagship store in Kiev Ocean Plaza. This Format has since been rolled out to over 150 stores in the Ukraine, and has established Allo as the No 1 Mobile Phone communications retailer with Brand Leadership in the Ukraine.
Allo Retail Strategy
Allo Group is Ukraine’s biggest mobile phone retailer with over 20% market share in all channels. Retail Vision found that Allo Groups existing small format stores opened since 2010 did not result in any increase in sales. Retail Vision then reviewed Allo Retail Strategy in 2012, with a Format Review and a Category Management Programme and recommended that Allo develop a new standard store format of at least 70 sq. mts to display Allo’s optimum multi-channel telecommunications offer with enhanced ranges and space allocation highlighting Smartphones, Accessories and Customer Service.
Allo New Store Format
John Ibbotson and the Retail Vision team developed a new format with new space allocation, layouts, planograms, fixture design and opportunities for branding, promotion and customer communication.
